L’entraîneur de Manchester City Pep Guardiola félicite son équipe malgré la défaite face à Liverpool (1-2).
Leroy Sané a ouvert le score face à Liverpool en amical mercredi (défaite 2-1 pour Manchester City). Mais malgré le but, son entraîneur attend plus de lui : «Il a besoin de plus de temps de jeu et il doit retrouver ses repères dans le jeu sans ballon. Il a le talent pour le faire et nous sommes heureux qu’il ait marqué. Mais il est loin de son meilleur niveau», a expliqué Pep Guardiola. L’entraîneur espagnol a également salué la performance de son équipe malgré la défaite : «Pendant 75 minutes, ce qu’on a fait était incroyable avec les joueurs qui étaient là. En première période, ils étaient en moyenne très jeunes.» Prochaine échéance pour City : une rencontre contre le Bayern samedi dans le tournoi amical International Champions Cup.
